How was the weekend?

Just wanted to ask how everyones weekend was. I never had time to go down and hang out with you all. You do anything interesting? I worked all weekend long. I managed to squeeze in a party friday night, and spent a couple hours with my girfriend tonight, but that was it. What's the latest on Rox's car? What about the CF hoods?

Not much happened. We painted calipers then went out to Barrett. Rox's car is gonna get repainted. No CF hoods have came in. My suspension stuff still isn't here and my car is actually gettin higher everyday. I now have a 10 finger wheel gap.

we had a pretty good time. friday we were at the body shop all night attempting to get stuff done that didn't work too well. michael and barry painted their calipers saturday while i tried to fix my front end. then we all went to barett and ate at 3 dollar cafe and watched rice. today we watched sportbike races and ate pizza. my under car plastics decided to come loose too and drag on the way to barrett. it completely tore up the plastics on the drivers side wheel area which can allow crap to hit my air filter now which is not cool. we fixed it but then it came back off today so we had to ghetto rig it with electrical tape which worked on the way home from rox's house tonight. and still no word on the hoods (my sparco shoes are finally on the way though. and i think thats about it.

don't forget about the red 300zx twin turbo that tried to race you cody. this guy flew past us going at least 100 mph, then throws on his hazards, trying to get cody to follow him. kinda hard to do that when you're already going 100, you retard. anyways, it was a twin turbo so it would've been a no-brainer anyways. also, on the ramp me and cody always take at like 85 mph, we decided to take it as slow as we could. i slowed down to a lightning slow 30 mph, and then cody passes me at a blistering 45 mph and throws his hazards on to indicate victory. he smoked me! haha, that was hilarious. too many close calls for me and cody both this weekend with the popo. oohhhhh!

haha..i forgot about our slow-speed race, that was funny (as michael said, we'd seen way too many cops already so figured we'd take it slow. plus my plastics were falling apart and making all these scary noises that i wasn't enjoying). and that turbo z was stupid. no way will i be racing one of those for a while

Sounds like you all had fun. I guess Barrett parkway should be getting better now that its getting warmer. 330 hp WRX? Sounds sweet. I need to paint my Calipers badly! Hopefully in a few weekes I'll make it down to hang out again.

Man I wish I knew y'all were over at Barrett after the Driving School My Brother in-law and I went and picked up my Sister and Nephew and went to Buffalo's for dinner we went to the one off barrett, Oh well, anyway I had a blast at the driving school, one of the instructers took me out in a 99 car I don't remember whos it was but he said we were doing around 160 the whole way around the track, It was amazing the G's that I felt, My brother in-law drove the cars he was doing like 115 around he did pretty good.

But then on my way home from their house I had a kid bunch of kids pull up next to me on Sandy Plains in a Camero they wanted to race I was like Hell No, Sandy plains is covered with cops and I was on the phone, they were giving me hell I told them to take it to the track and they said Right here right now I said fvck no I don't have a wish to go to jail or be killed by a bunch of 16 year olds who's Mommy bought them a car that had too much power, they were offended, and decided to cut me off and slam on their brakes ass holes I almost hit them but I just swirved into the next lane and stayed out of their way,

As for Sunday I woke up without a voice, and have been sick since. I just better get better by Thursday when I go to New York, My cousin is letting me drive his sprint car on Saturday,

gotta love stupid retards in cars. i had a dumbass in a chevy s10 staring me down and revving the crap out of his horrible sounding v8 at me. guy had the wiper led's and lots of sanded down spots on his car. pos. i revved back, but there wasn't much we could do since it was in heavy traffic. what a moron.

Yeah you should try living in gainesville. There are so many rednecks especially in trucks that want to race. Because of all the hours and hard work we've been doing lately the company is having a big party/appreciation day for all the Panoz companies. Among the stuff we are doing tomorrow is hot laps around Aoad Atlanta in the Panoz school cars. It sounds like we will be riding with the drivers for our team, I'm not sure if we'll get to drive at all. I'm excited. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going to bed now. We worked from 8:00 monday morning until about 1:30 in the morning(its tuesday now) getting everything done.

Wow Duncan you must need a serious Nap, and on the subject I am baby sitting my nephew and it would be nice if he would take one but I won't hold my breath, Have fun with the panoz cars let us know how it goes I know I would like to save up the money to take their driving school.

Ok I did the hot laps thing today. We each got to ride with one of our drivers for three laps in the panoz school cars. I rode with David Donahue if anyone has heard of him. He is a really good driver. It was unbelievable what he made that car do. They are not that fast of cars , and they use piolot sport street tires. I would never have believed the car would brake like it did and turn as fast as he was turning it without spinning and losing control. The fastest we got was about 115mph on the back straight. It was wild! I really want to do the racing shool now.

sounds like fun, i want to take my car to a driving school, like teh ones some of you guys did for autoxing. then i could graduate with honors and then go to driving college.

Wow I bet that was a blast Duncan, last saturday when I did the Hot laps in the nascar's I couldn't believe it, If I were driving the cars as fast as they were I would have surly put it in the wall.
