im changing my low and high beam bulbs to white. and on the manual it says i need:

low beams : h7 (55watt)
high beam : hb3 (65watt)

would it be ok if i run a 100watt for the high beams? i just dont want the bulb to blow right away. how much watts are u guys running? any feedback would help.. thanks

100W is way too much. It will lead to melted headlight housings and/or wiring. 55W is fine. If you don't want your bulbs to burn out, get a quality brand like Philips. Also, when installing them, DO NOT touch the glass part of the bulb. The oil on your fingers will cause the glass to expand and possibly explode.

OK thanks for the tip. I will definately look into getting a good brand of bulbs such as Phillips. I guess i'll have to stay with the 65watt limit hehe.

i have hiper industries ones (low watt) from mbautosports.com... they are not bright at all. but they look pretty. they are so weak, that when i turn on the foggies.... the area in front will turn yellow.... the fogs will totally cover up the nite lights... ah well. i'd get HID's but havent the time....

It's advertising from PIAA (and other companies are doing the same thing). It draws 55 watts, and performs like a 110 watt . It doesn't produce 110 watts (breaking the laws of thermodynamics here). The affects of the tint makes look like 110 watts.

ok i bought the nokya brands..
H7 55w --> 70w
9005 65w --> 100w

both are blue tint... costed $50 (discounted). IMO they are looking really bright. ugh but i forgot to change the wedge bulb (parking lights) as well... so i guess ill leave that yellow for now. :)

just wondering, is it easy to change the front bulb in the interior? i might change that to hyper blue or somethin...
