how to take out the black piece strip from the back bumper?

good question, I want to know too since that part on my car is really messed up. I need to repaint it...

It doesn't come off. It's just an unpainted part of the rear bumper.

then why i see some pics before that somone has their strips painted?
they didn't take it off and paint it?

I just had the shop paint that strip part by masking the rest of the bumper.
