Does anyone have any info. on where to get a Veilside FFGT hood & pics on someones car (fiberglass or carbon fiber). Thanks in advance.

I dont recall where to get one.... Other then just wait 3 months and you will see a cheaper Version of the same hood....

It costs about 1,000- 1,500 shipped to your house and takes loooong time to get it from japan...

This place right now is in the process of making that hood for about 500-600ish or so.

veilsides website sellings the hood in c/f for around 800 bucks. A hundred bucks cheaper or so for it in fiberglass.

Because alot of ppl are sick of that same problem and take it into there own hands... Or into the hands of a good shop :violin:

Then make something new. Don't rip off someone else's work. Or take the part that doesn't fit and modify it, I have no problem with that.

Why buy something from a big company like vis that had a high chance of not even fittingm & waiting for it to come all that time & paying alot more then something that is just as good? I would rather buy a replica from a shop that took there time and hand made these things and make sure that it will fit... Rahter then some company who pays min wage and the ppl dont care wtf they do or where does it goes... a shop would put there heart into it.... Would u want to buy something from a person who put there heart into the work or a min wage slave basicaly... :applaud:

Also yes its about what 700 for the dam hood and then count in shipping from japan.... :wtc:

Well, buy from respectable companies then. Like Seibon. And you think that the people making replicas care about quality? Maybe a few of them do...but the majority are trying to make a quick buck. If that wasn't true..why would they copy someone else's work, instead of being creative.

Look at Kenny Heiser's (sp) shop. They are having a CUSTOM hood made, and it will be high quality.

Check the vendor classified sectionfor the Veilside thread. They're going for $800 or so.

jus sold my authentic BRS hood too...I couldve kept ur ideology of not buying replica parts intact.

Because VIS is NOT a Big company and they ONLY make replicas. Most ppl in So Cal seen their shop, they are just like very other body repair shop that offers their own COPY ver. of authentic bodykits. :angry:

wow, great price...was the hood you bought a part of the first batch that came to the states though. i heard those were the one with the defects.

VIS Is BIGGER than many of the JDM originators, they're big enough to buy out Wings West. They do have a small shop where their office is, but have you seen the warehouse where they bring in a 40foot container every week?

With VeilSide USA here, why would you ahve to pay for shipping from Japan???? Veilside cf is $780.00 MSRP. I'm sure you can find it for around $660.00 just gotta look.
