The guy says his it's his daughters car and she hit a speed bump with it and now it won't fire up. It cranks and turns over fine, but just won't start. The car looks good except for a spot where her brother scraped the rear fender. He said they replaced the fuel pump and plug wires and still nothing. He says she told him to fix it for her or sell it other than that he doesn't know anything about it. I'm thinking this could be a quick fix. Loose ground on starter? Timing chain? What's your opinions?

If it cranks over then no it's nothing to do wit the starter. Check the compression, if there is none then it can be the timing belt/chain.

either way you can prob fix it and if it is good looking then you can re sell it for a lot more and make a profit

Ya, that makes sense with the starter. Could I just remove the oil cap and see if the lifters are trying to move?

Yes you can. Spray some starting fluid into the intake and see if it starts up. If it does then you have a fuel problem. If it doesn't then you either have a spark problem or no compression.
