real newby question: how do u take off

i unscrew all the bolts and tried to pull it off and it did not came out
do u suppose to twist it to the left/right or something?

i know really newby question, but the same thing happened when i tried to install my s2000 antenna the mf was so fu##ing hard to get off

Yeah bro...nothing else is holding it down. It should come off. Be patient and pull real hard.

Did you remember to jack the car up first ?? Trying to pull the tire off while the car is still on the ground is rather difficult and sometimes even impossible ... might want to look into that also ...

If it is jacked up ... give it a good kick to loosen it up, then pull it off.

yep painted my calibers this weekend:)
the reason it did not come off
was that it had rust in it(bolts)
was pissed about it
but i cleaned everything up
and now it looks cool

I guess you heard about me redoing the inside when I was down. Well about 60% complete. I got the console painted carbon blue, new head unit 5" screen mounted under the HU (pics in audi forum in 4"screen thread) vcr and dreamcast. Well right now I'm gonna do a switch to PS 2 from vcr and dreamcast and designing custom system as we speak. Got 50 % of the components now. All should be complete by mid January. (gotta buy gifts):(
Also got blue Sparcos on order. Well one, at least. I'll get the other when I get the cash too.;) What about you?

make sure it's torqued properly.
I had the same problem, some jack ass tightened all my wheels with an impact wrench. My friend who had an impact wrench had it on the highest setting and had to let it sit for 4-8 seconds just to break it free. Then we had to give the fronts a lil WD40 and wiggle wiggle wiggle. I finally got it free.

Whatever you do, don't use an impact wrench on the highest setting, nor should you ever let anyone do it.

Impact Wrench=the air wrench that makes that "vrrReer VrrReer" sound.

Yeah I dug Carlos' seats. I seen ablue one in Import Tuner and ordered. I only ordered the one and it came yesterday. I gotta get cash for the rails and the other seat.:(
