can i remove my air bags??????

i was thinking of installing a little playstation with the lcd screen in my car. but i have no where to put it, if i put it on the dash, the screen would hit the top of my front windshield. so when i was reading the super street magazine with the red dragon celica on it, i saw he had a n64 in his passenger air bag. so i was thinking of doing the same. i was thinking of either taking the air bag out or just disabling my air bags. as you all know right now we all have a plastic cover over it which reads,"SRS airbag." what if i take that plastic cover off?? will the airbag pop out?? is it safe to pop the plastic lid off?? thanks!!!!!

man, dont take out your airbag. I think there is legal stuff involved too. And you know you sure as hell aren't gonna be playing, and I think the passanger would have alot better time knowing there was an airbag there instead of being able to play video games. Its up to you though, I am sure someone can take it out for ya.

removing yur airbag is illegal but it can be done but get a pro to doit so you don't take yur head of with the airbag.

It's illegal for service technicians and dealerships to do it, the the owner can perform the surgery. See the link above.
