What is crankwalk?
I've heard this used many times in reference to the 2g eclipse.

This is when your crankshaft is "walking" If you ever get to see an exposed crankshaft, you can actually push it back and forth - the crankshaft is NOT supposed to move sideways at all.
I believe a crankwalk is also referred to as a thrust bearing failure... not positive though. It can be caused by a bad crankshaft surface finish, overloading or a misalignment...
