View Full Version : Exhaust getting a little annoying

I have a TRD exhaust. Lately I'm finding that once was nice sound, is starting to get annoying. For last week now, I've driving with the radio off and the windows down. Is there anything temporary I can put to kind of lower the sound? (Besides putthing the stock exhaust back on.) Otherwise I may just sell the exhaust and the intake.

Or is there another exhaust I can trade for?

Try putting Cotton balls in your ears, I love how my Exhaust sounds and I've had it for over a year.

Yeah man i know what you mean...I have a TRD with no resonator and almost every passenger i have complains about how loud it is in the back seat. It was fun for a while but its not as dope now.

that's why you just take the back seats out :) then they won't complain about anything

Sell the TRD and get the Apexi N1. IMHO the best exhaust. Not very loud but very low and deep. When you hit lift is when things get interesting. A plus is that it comes with a silencer so if you go on a raod trip pop it in and you get quiet.

i love my trd. the only time i get a little sick of it is when i'm on a highway trip, can't here the music as well.

Get an intake:wiggle: Then you can't hear your exhaust ;) j/k... Uhm, if it's annoying, why get an aftermarket exhaust then? Just go back to stock...
