I had just recieved an email from my mom asking me if I was wanting a xbox 360 as my main gift so that she could get on a waiting list... i never even said anything to her about one. I dont think im gonna ask for one, rather get some other stuff.

Good lucking getting an XBOX 360 Greg, even if you did want one it'd be next to impossoble to get. My freind reserved one in June, and he was told last week that he will be lucky if he gets it before Christmas. Apparently (like all system launches) Microsof didn't expect demand to be so high and only have a limited amount of systems for sale. :jerkoff:



I have no idea what I think others will buy me for Christmas. All I know is that I've purchased an ass load of car parts in the past month (over 1k) and I have another big purchase coming up before Christmas. Thank God for credit.

They are keeping one and selling the other one for 8 or $900 which is the price they are going for on ebay. She said they had about 15 in stock, which of course were all gone shortly after.

That's insane. I was at the 12am opening at roosevelt field the day the PSP was released. I got it, and got home at at like 3am with work the next day. Never again, it's not worth it. Your cousin's crazy! But honestly, I'd sell both 360's on ebay now, make an assload of cash, and just buy the system for retail come springtime when theres actually games worth buying for it. :)

I went to the Toys R Us in Times square during lunch, and they were all sold out. When I walked into work this morning at 9am, there was a line wrapped around the block of Toys R Us. I wonder how many systems they had? They usually get a large amount of inventory for new releases since they're the flagship store.

But seriously, what's with the MSRP of 360 games costing $60? I refuse to buy the current gen games at $50, unless it's a series I'm quite fond of. Like GTA. :D

Also, there are NES/SNES fanboys out there that have created modified consoles w/ harddrive so you can play all your NES/SNES games on your TV with original controllers and everything. I think they were selling for around $400-$500. While it would be amazing, I couldn't justify spending that much for a bunch of old games I'd rarely play. Hell, I still have PS2 games I haven't even touched (Suikoden IV, GTA: San Andreas)... :chuckles:

Thats awesome Radi0 i didnt even know that im gonna have to go research that on e-bay. I mean i know emulators but some times i wish i was just playing on a big screen tv...i have pretty much every arcade ever made as well. I know about the sp i use to have a Nintendo DS but since there was barley any good games coming out for it i decided to trade it in. Hell i was right there on launch day as well Joe for the PSP. I bought it played some games and said it wasnt worth it. Traded it in. Thats why all i do is pretty much rent stuff anymore. I know the last game i bought for the x-box was The Path of Neo and man does that game suck! I know the last game i bought for my computer and im still playing it (not as much since im not at home heh) and it is actually The Movies. Im telling you that game is amazing with all the **** u can do in it.

I'm very disappointed with Path of Neo. Thankfully I only payed $30 for it. So, I started playing San Andreas again; man I love GTA. I probally would have sold my PSP if it weren't for Liberty City Stories.

How is Liberty City Stories? The only reason i might get a psp again is just for the On the go emulators. What i mean is its just ****ing awesome to have emulators on a psp. I mean u could just take it and go and have like super mario or sonic ready to play heh. have u invested in a new mem stick yet Joe? I heard newegg always has cheap stick. Like a 1 gig for 100 bucks.

Its actually a shame Path of neo was a bummer. It makes me sad that i have yet to see a GOOD matrix game. Even MXO (The Matrix Online) is a crappy ass game. I think i might get into World of Warcraft or City of Villians next. Star Wars Galaxies has gotten boring once i hit Jedi status and City of Heros is boring once u hit level 50. But at least in City of Villians u can create your own evil base heh.

Liberty stories is awesome. If you still play GTAIII, you'll love this game. It looks better than GTAIII too. The storyline so far is much better than the other 3 PS2 games, at least with the acting.

I haven't looked into the on the go emulators. How hard is it to install onto a memory card and get the PSP to actually recognize it? I always run into some kind of problem when I try to hack crap. That's why I stopped reading up on that stuff.

I kind of liked Enter the Matrix, this other one I'm gonna throw onto ebay soon. I was thinking of getting City of Heroes since I finally bought a new computer that can actually handle 3D games decently. But I have a hard time getting into PC games. The only ones I play on occasion are the Roller Coaster Tycoon games. I eat that sh*t up.
