last night i was driving home wonder if this would work.
I was thinking about putting the GTS rotors on my Wifes GT since they are bigger and would decrease her stopping distance. Now the Question i have is will the GTS rotors fit in the Stock 15 in steel rims of the GT??

My winter tires are on 15" steel rims, and they cleared the caliper and rotor fine. This doesn't mean that all steel wheels will clear, but it is a positive sign.
By the way, there are some other major concerns with this plan. You'll need to move the caliper out to fit over the larger rotor. The easiest way to do this is to use the GT-S caliper mount, but this may not be compatible with your caliper. In this case, you need to get GT-S calipers, which means you'll need an adjustable proportioning valve. On the other hand, if the GT caliper does bolt on to the GT-S mount, then you've found a nice brake upgrade for not too much $$$.

I could always get the rotor and try to see if they fits, if not i could jsut return the rotor and get the GT.

Yes, they should definitely fit. The 16" rims the GT-S comes with are only an option. They're supposed to come with the 15" aluminum rims that are optional for the GT.
