you will regret painting your interior. leave it how it is. you will probally get laughed at also. BUT if you do decide to paint it. take it to a shop. its gonna cost a little more but you will have a perfect finish and most likely a warrantee. just my .02 good luck with what ever you choose. oh yeah and stay away from body kits. get the trd kit or ww lip kit if anything. but its YOUR car. do whatever makes you happy.

Don't buy any body kits on ebay. yah they are cheaper, but you might as well dish out a little more money for a real kit then to buy a cheap knock off brand. I bought one beforeand the kit didn't even fit on my car. It was too small

Sorry for not making that clear enough. ww is Wings West. as for not looking stock. like i said its your car, you can accept opinions but yours is the only one that really matters.

here is a link to the Wings west lip kit.
http://wingswest.com/products_detail.asp?page=1&id=644

Its basically the same as Toyota's action Package with the exception of the front lip opposed to a whole different bumper. its also made of poly urethane so it is very durable, and since it is only front and rear add on with exception of side skirts. it will cost less to paint and theres less that could go wrong with it.

Here is a link to a Wings West REPLICA.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CELICA-00-01-02-WINGS-WEST-4-PCS-LOWER-LIPS-AND-SKIRTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36475QQitemZ8018 124338QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

i dont know of the quality of this kit. they say its a reproduction and it is also made of poly urethane, so it might be just as good. sorry for the long post. hope this helps though. good luck!

If you decide to paint your interior get a primer for plastics and then you can get any type of paint, in acrylic that is, I used painters choice from lowes because the blue was a very nice color. It is alot of work though I did mine and it took alot of wet sanding and patience. My advice to you is really think about the blue, I have gotton alot of complements for mine but I'm thinking of repainting it to gloss black, nothin really goes with the blue. no matter what I never liked the stock grey. I could take some pitcures for you if you want to see how it might look and then decide :wiggle: Also I got my Invader 1 body kit from Ebay, and the company I got it from were very honest. My first kit they sent was broke it route, and they sent me a whole new kit for free, unfortunately it was the wrong kit an Intruder 6. But instead of wanting it back they sent me a whole NEW kit, the one I ordered and I got to keep all three kits. I sold the first two for over what I spent on the first kit so even though it was a pain, it was avery good deal, and my kit was a real Invader so I guess maybe its luck, but Ebay worked for me. Just be careful who you buy from. Its your car and your decision so what ever you like go for, I love the way my body kit looks on my car, I would not trade my body kit for a lip kit any day!! All kits take some working with to fit on a car, but there are alot of con artists out there so just be careful and goodluck. and if you want me to post any pics. for you just ask.

post pics. i wanna see.

as for body kits and lip kits. thats personal prefference. my integra had a fiberglass kit, then i switched to a wings west urethane kit and was much happier. i had to shave maybe an inch off the rear bumper other then that the kit fit perfect. lip kits are cleaner looking. after dealing with "i cant go there, the drive way is too steap. ill scrape my bumper." and "hey you have a body kit so u must be a ricer...lets race." i will never go that route again. and like the above post. you do have to be very careful who you buy from. read their feedback and see if its the same name posting over and over to get their rating up. she obviously made out pretty good with her kit, but going through the hassel of a broken kit, the wrong kit and waiting for each replacment to get shipped to her. i rather pay out the extra cash and get it right the first time from a very very reputable company. no offense to her at all. but thats just my opinion. remeber, you get what you pay for.

Its all about opinion about lip kit or a body kit, I love my kit and the way it looks and if you like just the lip kit I'm sure it looks great also. And the hassle of all the problems I had was a pain and the ONLY thing that made it all worth it was I made 200.00 on the deal for buyin somethin but like he said I was LUCKY with the person I was dealin with. And I will post pics. for ya tomorrow, Tuesday.

Thanks, so you think I should leave it blue and try to add some more blue somewhere to make it fit, or is their just enough blue now? I'm already in the process of painting the lower portion of my doors and my consol gloss black, and maybe thinkin of putin the celica name on the door portion in blue to help it combine, just enough but not too much, opinions?

Depends on your graphics, or any other colors on the car, without seeing it IMO your best choices are Gloss black, blue or red, either red or black being what I would choose or even both, if done tastefully. I've seen a black car with white, and it was nice, but has to done right. Colors to definately avoid, Yellow, lime green, and orange, I just think they would look tacky with a black car. But also this is just my opinion.

Its been a long time ago since I got mine all I remember is the guys name, Don Robinson, but I can check all my old correspondence with him when I get home and check for the name of the company, or I might even still have his number for you so you can talk to him directly if ya want me ta look for it? I'll just hope the first kit they send you is nice, unbroken and the correct kit so I don't feel bad for givin you their # :p: I've never seen a pic of the lids your talkin of, I know what the porche lights look like but on a celi I'd have to see it before I could give ya an honest opinion.
