Nah, they're messing with your mind. They put it up on their website to trick you.

Until Dec 31st, most of them are $90.

But really, no one else makes that style of shift knob. You pay for exclusivity. Plus, it's just a really nice knob anyway. I don't see the need for any sort of complaint here.

I have one and I love it! Great feel, high quality. Most of their knobs are around 500 grams to help back weight the short shifter to compensate for lost leverage. I got mine 2 years ago and it was tough finding a knob that heavy.

I would recommend anyone that has TWM (or other) SS, to get one.

I don't remember. It was an online dealer that I found carrying them. They were from somewhere in California.

I searched for shops until I found one.

Not for sale.....please don't jack other people's threads for stuff like this. This thread should have stayed on the topic of TWM Shift knob.

In the future please PM me if you want to know stuff like this.

back into the thread.... doesn't the twm get crazy cold in winter being metal and all?

yes it fluctuates temperature just as much as you would expect metal to. I have a small felt bag that I put over it to regulate temperature a little. I'm in Houston so it doesn't get that cold, but it does get crazy hot in the summer.

^^ :werd:

It does get crazy hot. It's really not that big of a deal though. I mean, of course leather would be more comfortable but it's not like it's something thats unmanageable at all.

I think I got mine just when they had started making the classic styles. I paid about 58 shipped I believe.

like they already said, the TWM is so expensive because it's basically the only knob with that weight. If you took time to read other posts and their website a bit you might understand this.

^^^What he said.

When you price out shift knobs look at the weight. This will usually be expressed in grams. TWM = about 500 grams.
