Hi all.. I'm getting started on our next meet, here is the start of the information available.. I would like to make it an all day event, please send emails on the meet specific page were applicable.

Let's bring back some ideas we had in earlier threads. Going to a theme park, going out somewhere at night? How about City Walk? How about an organized cruise somewhere. How about going to Daytona Beach the next day and cruising the beaches?

ok guys.. if you plan on going or trying to make it to the meet, I will need your EMAIL addresses.

I will be sending out emails to all the people at the last meet informing them of June 22nd.

As far as making it an all day thing, I would love to.. but as most of you know already I'm new to Florida and I need your help to plan this.

i can't wait till this next meet, only issue i'll have is i might have my bike by then :) but anyways, if you need help finding something to do, or a place to meet up, let me know. the steak n shake parking lot by my house is huge, and we usually meet up there on weekends. the manager loves it cause it attracts business for him, and we love it cause it's damn good eatin....if we need ideas for thigns to do let me know, i might have a few tricks up my sleeve of ideas.

Ok.. we're going to meet in Downtown Disney and all roll out to City Walk for the night. Does anyone know of a public parking area in Disney were we can meet, get some food?

I'll start to push this meet here shortly to get things booming so lets see some activity!

there's plenty of parking in downtown disney. it's kinda expensive to eat there though. we can go to bongos (cuban food) or rainforest cafe (where apparently it rains every 20 minutes) :)

Bongos was designated as the un-cleanest restaurant in Orlando a fe wmonths ago :) But maybe they cleaned up their act. Luna is right about the expensiveness of Downtown Disney. But, these meets are rare and I would be willing to eat at an establishment there. There are a lot nice restaurants in the area there. There are: Macaroni Grill, Chevy's, Chilis, Olive Garden, and more 5 mins from Downtown Disney. Macaroni Grill is the best!

Well.. Guess I won't be attending to this meet. My car won't be done by the 22nd. I want to make sure that my body kit comes out perfect. I don't want to rush this. I know next meet I'll be all ready. I maybe will have more mods than I have now to show you guys next time. I hope you guys have fun.

Ok everyone.. I have pretty much decided on the location. We'll be meeting in Downtown Disney at noon! The meet is getting closer and we really need to get the word out, I'm going to try and contact as many people from the last meet this weekend. Please! Send me your email addresses if your for sure coming, we need to get the list going. I'd like to get more people together than we had last time.

From Disney we'll head out to City Walk and spend the night there. Our next meet will be the one before HIN, so lets make this one good and have a blast at our next few!

hey guy's, hopefully i won't have to work on the 22, i doubt i will, even if i do, im off by 12 anyways. if i do have to work late, i can just meet up with everyone out at city walk....although, i might just have to bring my bike if i have it by then, i'd have to get my bro to drive my celi up there for me :)

Did this meet just kinda die here or what? The peeps over at celica.net and I are going to try and get some hotel rooms, if anyone is interested. Later that night we're gunna have a hotel room party so everyone can get to know one another! Hopefully you guys all are planning on attending! Haven't heard much from the newcelica camp.

i hope you have me down for one. i've talked to a couple of the guys and so far i think they're coming with the exception of one or two. i live in orlando so i dunno if i'd need a hotel room, but i'm down for the party. i think someone had mentioned (badtoyo-raul) that he wanted to stay over from friday to saturday so that we can all go to the track the nite before. what do you think about that? you think your camp would go for that. we'd take over the track!! :)

So how many people have you talked to, with the exception of one or two, that are coming? As for the night before at the track, dunno.. I don't think I'll be doing that, I'll be spending enough money on some beer for the next night hehe. I'll present the idea to anyone over at celica.net though if they care to join.

The rates are 69.95 for June 22nd. I'm not sure exactly how far this is from City Walk but shouldn't be that big of a deal, I'm sure no one will complain for a cruise with everyone together My roomie and I have already blocked out our room, people will be welcome obviously while we party.. we'll try to get our rooms all next to each other if possible (I'll call to make sure, so leave your name and confirmation number so I can tell them exactly who's rooms should be near one another). But, once it starts to quiet down, we have two double beds in our room and we'll be getting some sleep.

Hope to see you all join up with us!

Just as a note: I have not booked my reservation yet because I want to see everyone elses response to make sure this is acceptable.

hey guy's, sorry it's been so long sinve i've been on the board, my computer decided it would destroy the hard drive. i will still be there on the 22 though, unfortunatly, i won't get my motorcycle till july, so it won't be there :( but the celi will so it's still ok :)

Hey guys.. time is coming up! Hope you all have your stuff together..

at the last moment my car goes under the knife tomorrow for the 5S-FE to 3S-GTE swap and if all goes well my rear bumper will be fixed in the bodyshop as well and I'll get it back right before the meet.

A friend of mine from Atlanta as well is coming down with his 1990 Celica GTS 5S to 3S swap.. should be a great time! Looks like things are really lining up for this one.

Adam, I don't think it will be a problem to park there. There is a ton of room way in the back of that parking lot to get a bunch of cars parked together. Especially around noon time, it shouldn't be too bad.

As for restaurants, there is a ton to choose from, but you should at least come and hang out at the hotel party and city walk!

Adam, three things:

1) What's up with "Dead on Arrival" :)
2) Haven't installed the headers yet, but will be going to Jacksonville in two weeks to install them together with my friend up there along with TWM SS. Then Edrick will help me with the S-AFC.
3) I'll meet up with ya some where. Breakfast or something? Maybe Luna, Efren and the rest of the crew would like to join. Give me a place and time man.

4) Yeah, I know, I wish I head the headers installed now before the meet but I really have had zero time with all these porjects finishing up at work. I've been working 60-65 hour work weeks.

Ok guys.. glad to see the newcelica camp is still up on all this :)

The meet continues to grow.. we have a large number of expected people once again, I would imagine that this meet will be just as big if not bigger than the meet on April 6th..

just this time we are all DEFINATELY cruising!

If the weather holds out for us, it looks like a killer time we're going to have! Reguardless though, I will still be there, I'm not going to let anything rail on my parade!

We have a friend comming out to us from Gainsville. Haven't heard from him - so I don't know if its definate, but he said he was commin. He has an orange Toyota Pickup slammed. Have you seen him around? Maybe you might want to follow him to our house and Clayton will be meeting up with us at a gas station by my house on his way down from Jax.

That'd be cool! I haven't seen him around.

I did see a carbon blue GT with a Blitz bodykit, graphics and an aluminum wing yesterday though. That was the only modded Celica I have seen out here besides my own.

A big thanks goes out to Clayton for helping organize this thing! IIt was a blast despite the rain. I apologize for having to bail after Friday's as I had to go see the girlfriend in Melbourne so I dorve back with Jon "Akuma". I tried to tell everyone goodbye, but you all were in your cars already because of the rain!

Anyway, good job, let's get the next one going for a later time and better weather!

wish i coulda been there guy's, work is horrible with inventory comin up, so i gut stuck there till amost minight....oh well, i'll make sure i take the next one off from work so i don't have to worry about it :)
