hot air comin out vents,but don't have ac or heat on?

i was drivin my car today and i felt hot air coming out the vents, and i didn't have the ac or heat on,wats up with this? it didn't come out all the time but enough to get me worried. the weather was nice and cool. is there something wrong wit my car? please help

hmmm.....i know what ur talking about.....i think its cause you have your vents so that you don't let outside air in....the little switch that you move from left to right on the dash......the switch that controls inner air circulation only...or outside air circulating through

if you dont have the fan on and want some fresh air without opening the windows u can slide the switch to the position that shows the air coming inot the car..this will then give you fresh air from outside as long as your moving and u dont neven have to put your fan on..if you turn it to recirculate no outside air will get in and u must use the fan to get some air in...so if you have the vent open with the outside air coming in and your thermostat is anywhere near hot it lets warm air that circulates the motor to be mixed with the outside air and pushes it through the vents...this is also how u egt heat in the winter... just trun your thermostat to cold...and u will get cold air...

i leave it open it keeps the car smellin good by not lettin old air stay in there.
