im a newb when it comes to exhausts so please forgive my ingorance .. I went to get my rotors machined and pads changed today(would have changed them myself but i had a coupon :-) ) and saw a whole bunch of high flow performace muflers on display, how do they install those? do they make custom piping or do they just get a miffler the same size as yours. saw of your old mufler and weld on the new on on your stock pipin???? how much they usualy charge for that??
are those magnaflow muflers quiet? how about the trd? do they sound stock? I'm looking for something as close to stock sound as posible?? nothing that will sound aftermarket. any sugestions links withs sound clips?? and also do hi performace exhaust only give you top end??? do you loose any low end and torque???

to me, most aftermarket exhausts aren't that loud. that is because out gts's have a majority of axle-back exhausts for example like mines (http://media.putfile.com/hks-exhaust). the only way that it'll sound loud is if you get a custom straight piping and have no resonator in the way.
