tire size help

i'm getting some 18 x 7 wheels. i have hotchkis lowering springs giving me about a two inch drop. what size tires will fit those rims? 215/35/18 or 215/40/18? thanks.

either of those tires should fit an 18x7 wheel fine.

if you're worried about rubbing, offset is what you need to consider...with a 7" wheel, you'd probably have to stray pretty far from 39mm to get any rubbing (even with a 2" drop)

offset is 42. thanks for the info, but which is closer to stock circumference?

215/35R18 is closer...tiny bit smaller than oem.
