Yeah I keep seeing the same seller, but he/she keeps having different prices. Last week it was 89 dollars. One time it was 59, now it's the cheapest it's ever been considering it was freakin 89 just a few days ago.
I'm only worried about the fitment.

Watch out for this guy.. He has a 100% feedback because his former account was banned. Hes been known to scam, but I think he sometimes sends the product, so you are basically gambling.

If In two weeks I don't receive the product I will request a refund from paypal.

Dude... that's a picture of my GT-300 they are using! That picture was taken at the 2003 SEMA show. The car that is parked beside it is the Pacific Tire S13 drift car.
As for the CF hatch handle... well it looks good and high quality the design looks almost like the the one offered by APR about a year ago.

I just received my carbon fiber hatch handle and it was the worst quality carbon fiber product I've ever purchased!
The piece looks like it was sanded with a knife. There were cracks in the fiberglass mouldings and there were cracks where the bolts are lined up in the back of the fiberglass.
The bolts are loose as well and they don't look like they will hold anything tight.
I have contacted the seller to see what they can do...
I am very displeased in this product.
I DO NOT ENDORSE THIS PRODUCT FROM THIS SELLER AT ALL

He emailed me back and said that he will send me another replacement. I asked him to personally check the item for any flaws before he ships. We will see how well this works out. I don't want to be screwed for shipping.

I bought this too. I agree with logikol. It was not sanded very well and did not exactly fit flush with the hatch. When I tried to tighten it, it got closer to the hatch but the handle wouldn't work. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

armeniangaleer, when you tightened the bolts did your handle crack?

When I tried to tighten it, the part where the bolts hold the fiberglass started to chip, so I just took it back off. I bought this in October and still haven't pu it on cause I couldn't find a way to make it fit right.

Yes, after hearing about the horrors of having a CF handle cracking or rattling. I think it's best to wrap the stock one. Itll be more sturdier in my opinion.

logikol, you get the new handle from that dude yet? i decided to just send my stock one to fibercation.com to get wrapped.. i think thats the smart thing to do after seeing all this fake crap.

Nope, I have not received the new hatch handle as of yet. I expect it to come after new years. Getting it wrapped is probably a smarter idea, I agree.

I have just received the new hatch handle and it is definitely a big improvement from the old hatch handle. No more chips, or scratches and the weave pattern is much tighter and cleaner as well. The back bolts are still loose due to the flimsy fiberglass backpiece. However, I am going to use urethane to fit it flush and prevent it from cracking.
Due to the nature of carbon fiber, it is hard to get a good picture of it with the flash on, however I tried my best.
Here are the pics of the new one and the old one beside each other. You can tell which one is which just by the weave pattern.

I am satisfied with the outcome of this sale, however if I had to do this again, I would get the the original wrapped from fibercation.com for a similar price I originally paid and not worry about misfitment.

Ok, after 3 hours trying to install this hatch handle I give up. The fitment is actually pretty good, and it looks alot better but here are the two faults:
1. Two of the bolts are too large and cannot fit in the corresponding hole - the original OEM has smaller ones
solution: Need to buy smaller bolts. Good thing they slide easily into place.
2. The hatch handle does not give enough room for the license plate markers to fit.
solution: don't use the markers.
I don't mind getting smaller bolts, that's nothing, but I do mind that I would not have a license plate marker anymore.
My conclusion to this whole mess, call fibercation.com and get all my parts wrapped. Saves the headache. If I was proficient at body work I would keep these and make them work for me, however I am not as good as some people on these boards.
These carbon fiber hatch handles are now up for sale, please PM me and the best offer takes it.

as for #2..... you will have to use those markers or risk a major fine... when i bought my hatch, I had to modify the cf hatch to fit the markers (via Super Glue) since the cf hatch was thicker than the OEM hatch... those markers are very noticeable at night and will get ur ass pulled over in a sec...
