CUZO H-3 70w lights

Alright, I just purchased these for my car from some place here in orlando and they are the Japanese H-3 lights for the daily driving lights on our celicas. Now, here's my stupid question. There is a wire with what looks like flat piece of metal (grounder) attached to each light. What the hell is that?? I'm also having problems disconnecting or taking out the old lights. Any tips or ideas? Thanks so much, I really want to get these on!!

H-3's are for the foglights. The DRL's use either 9006 or 9005, can't remember which. It says in your owners manual though.

Actually, the high beams are 9005's. The drl a.k.a. parking light is a 194 or 168. Those h-3's you have are for your fogs. That wire is what you will be plugging in to get power to the bulb i'm assuming. I personally havent changed the bulbs in the fogs. I just use them when i need to i.e. when its foggy...:)

If you want some real nice drl's, go with the piaa's. The come in a variety of white's. The xtreme white's imo are sweet as hell. Make sure u get a matching set though.

Cool! Thanks for the info, looks like I bought the wrong lights! Now I'm curious how they will look for my low beams. I will definitely be checking out the manual to confirm the light type/number for the DRLs. Thanks again to you all,

H3 are your fog lights
9005 are your highbeams/drl

If your going to try and correct someone you might want to make sure you know what your talking about. The high beams are the DRL's.
