View Full Version : TRD Ride Quality

I would like to get rid of some of the wheel well gap on my GT-S. I was thinking of doing a 1" drop with TRD springs, then updrading my tires to 225s on the stock rims (which I also like). I may upgrade the shocks dependin on the $$ I have available. I really like the damping of the stock suspension and don't want to mess up the ride quality - doing all this work is merely yo remove the wheel well gap.

What to you guys think? Is my ride quality going to suffer? Will 225's fit on the stock rims without messing up the handling?

Thanks.

The 1" drop shouldn't make your ride harsh at all. 1" is not a big difference at all. 225 isn't good on the stock tires. When you put a wide tire on a skinnier rim, it can lead to problems later.
