Saw this on ebay... Look at the Horsepower claims at the bottom.

If the link above doesn't work, you can search under ebay#1822514440
I emailed the guy, just out of curiosity to see what was done. He said that it has an AEM CAI which will add 25% more HP (ummm, yea, ok), and that the air fuel mixture was modified by some performance company, and that's where the other gains come from. No Dyno to back it up of course. Any of you guys/gals out there with a GT, AEM CAI and S-AFC only and running at 185HP?
With that logic, I should be able to do the same thing to my GT-S and get almost 240 horsepower! Hey! No need for a turbo/supercharger!

new hood, hood hinges, bumper, fenders
hell... you could probably get that stuff for less than 4.5k and still have enough to get it painted
that's all fine and dandy unless there's frame damage

Actually, the HP at the wheels would be LOWER than at the crank (engine). Anyway, he says that his car has the HP of a GT-S, so no matter which way you look at it, his claims are out to lunch.

He did state BHP though, not fwhp. bhp is at the crank.
People like this make the whole human race look like shaved monkey asses. There is at least $10,000 worth of damage to that car...he needs a new bumper, hood, front suspension,....

i did that type of thing to my car, accident wise, ran right into the back of someone....ficked up the front bumper, scrunched the hood like that, not quite as bad, nor the bumper as bad, but still had to get em replaced, and had to get my front quarter panel fixed too, it only cost 5k. So that possible...i guess, looks kinda ficked up for 4500, who knows

umm... how does a hit and run happen when the damage in on the front of the car? wouldn't it be his fault? Did he hit and run? lol. I live in Florida, the person in the back is always at fault...

Well, regardless of what it would take to fix it, I'm sure someone could use the parts that had 3500 sitting around.

The car is parked on the street. Joe sixpack has had one too many and weaves across the road and smacks into the front of your car. Then drives off.
There's one scenario.
