Whoo hoo!!! Ichiro got it!

The voting process sucks though. If there are 2 players neck-to-neck for MVP, the title might go to the 2nd player with the most votes, not the 2 player running neck-to-neck... meaning if Boone and Ichiro was tied, Giambi would have gotten the title.

I can't believe they had a hard time picking Ichiro. Everyone was criticizing his abilities, saying he was a lightweight. I've never seen anyone in major league baseball hit a routine ground ball to second base and outrun the throw to first! Ichiro made the game exciting! Even Barry Bonds' home run record was overshadowed by Ichiro and the success of the Mariners for God's sake! The stats don't lie! Ichiro definitely deserves to be MVP.
