bottom neon lights

I have a red 2001 gt and i want to put the bottom neon lights but Im not sure what color it would look good in since I cant use red or blue (i heard they're illegal). I was thinking maybe yellow would look cool but I dont know if it would look all that great and i dont want them to look weird with my other lights, i have halogen foglights and the altezza lights in the back. Well if you can give me your opinion on what you think, thanx =)

put red, only illegal if your driving with them on

Fu-k illegal go with the red I got red neons on my red celi and its the sh-t.
