Just wondering if anyone has had any experience using Synergyn oil. I have seen posts about a lot of other synthetics, but not this one. My friend has some 5w30 and he used it in his RSX. He claims that it is the best synthetic, but I wanted other opinions.

i've used Royal Purple Racing 21 (synthetic 5w30), i highly recommend it.
i hear good things all the time about Amsoil, Redline, and Mobil 1...in that order.

So you used the RP Racing 21 for regular street use?

All I can say is this. Do a search, I have posted a million times about factual evidence in favor of Amsoil,,,, from leading companies separate in every way from Amsoil.
If your friend is so confident that his oil is the best..... tell him to prove it. Heresay is the worst form of promotion, I want tests and more tests to prove it.

Yeah, I agree with you about tests and more tests to prove something. Thanks for your input. I haven't talked to the person he gets it from, but supposedly a lot of well known people on the racing scene use this oil, some of them even if they are sponsored by another brand. I am just trying to find out if anyone has tried and tested Synergyn oil.

That's cool, but racing oil can and is in a lot of cases a whole different ball game than what you wanna be putting in your daily driven car..........
I hope that you can find someone that has used it, always sux to be the guinea pig.

yeah, it's a fully synthetic oil, while their normal street oils are partially synthetic. so far no problems, it felt strong for the 2 weeks or so after i had it in. since then temperatures have gone up and it's rained, and i messed with the air filter/mafs, so i can't tell anymore, just feels like normal.

I had the Synergyn 5w30 put in last Friday when I brought my car in for 10000 mile service. It is high performance oil, not pure racing oil. I can feel a change in how the car reacts, but not a lot. The main difference is that when I first start the car after it has been sitting overnight or for a long time(cooled down), is that the rpm's are not much over 1k. With the conventional it would be up to over 2k until it warmed up a bit. Thanks for all input.
