well if you buy b0x's stuff, tahts what, $13? then you can split among your local celica (or other car) friends. he told me you can do about 2-3 celicas by just doing the bottom part amber. so figure about $7 per celica (to do 2), then left overs. but you gotta do it yourself vs bat's already cut(?) pattern.
bat: your post doesnt sound that good. you should say like "this is what it WOULD look like if you bought my kit. these were from jaycee, who purchased the vinyl sheet from b0x, and then cut it to fit himself." give some credit to b0x (for supplying the vinyl) and jaycee (for doing the work)

I pmed Jaycee and asked his permission use his pic. I was about to do it myself, but I wasn't up to removing my smoke kit. I think it's great that people can do their own stuff like Jaycee had done. I also think it's great that bOx offers the vinyl for people to do it themselves. Just like Clone, Karl and others have done my v5 kit long before I ever did it. What I offer are kits that are ready to install. Obviously, there are quite a few people out there who'd rather buy something that's pre made for them, and that is what I offer.
Alex-You're right about giving credit to bOx for supplying the vinyl, and Jaycee for doing the work. Thank you guys...;).

The v9 kit in my Link is done in Smoke Vinyl. At the time...I didn't have access to red tint vinyl. Now I can get red, blue, yellow...tinted vinyl through my supplier:). Here's a pic of the v9 in Smoke:

wow thats one sexy car!! hahaha well anyways Bat is trying to say how thats what it would look like with just the amber part covered since i remeber ppl wanting the whole tail light covered instead of just the bottom and stuff. The work did take ahile, my gf even got mad at me for taking so long! its a bit difficult to get it to wrap nicely around and stuff to get the super clean look around the edges n corners.... well at least for me :chuckles:

Someone told me that the vinyl doesn't match well with the upper portion if you just do the bottom amber part. I think someone posted that awhile ago. That's why I did the whole light on mine (vinyl from b0x). It takes a long time to do too.. damn. If I knew it matched well I wouldn't have wasted my time doing the whole light!

From the very start, I wondered why people covered the entire tail anyway. Regardless of whether you cover the whole thing, or just the bottom, it's gonna look the same. If you are covering the whole taillight, you are still going to have two different colors underneath!

My v10 kit has a seem between the top piece and the smoke piece. Your right, it's very difficult to do the corners, although not impossible. Personally, I would rather have the line between the amber and the red part of the taillight anyways. You can really notice it because the line matches up to where the amber meets the red. Kinda like when you get your rear windows tinted. If it's a two pice tint, they'll put a seem right on the rear defroster line, so you can't really notice it.
