The only reason I bought it was for long trips and to use in the winter. It really helps protect from damage from rocks and salt. I would never leave it on in nice weather.

lol good... i guess it would be smart to use it on trips if your driving a long time and stuff.... i just hate wen people put those on nice cars for no reason.. they look so errr lame
