TEIN HA owners?

Any TEIN type HA owners in the northeast? I am thinking about buying a set but am worried about the "rust" horror stories. I can't imagine the salt/sand/snow during the winter being nice to the coilovers. I know the new type SS's have some special powder coating to solve this issue. So can anyone give me their experiences?
