Are these light bulbs any good?

They're garbage. Any light with blue tint like that will be darker than stock, and usually only last around 6 months. If you want brighter light, these are the only way to go:

If you want bluer light, you'll have to deal with the problems associated with them, or get 6000K+ HIDs (real HIDs, not those wanna-bes in your link)..
