Warning: Pretty long read, but please do I really need your guys help.

As the title says guys, I need help badly. These two have been out since March of 2003, I know I've waited long to post about it but I thought I had it figured out back then and just got reaallly lazy after that. Well at first I thought it was because of a weak battery, as the headlights would dim when I came to a red light or a stop, so I changed it. The domelight and radio would work now and then, and the headlights were ok. Well after a few months the dome light and clock turned completely off and haven't worked continually for about a year and a half now pretty much but the headlights are ok. Somebody told me it was probably my aftermarket AEM Pulleys, so I had those removed and the battery checked, the battery came out fine and thinking that it was the pulleys sucking away power like I said those were removed to, but to no sucess(it's been nearly 2 months now I believe) because the dome light and clock are STILL OUT. :bang:
Now I've been looking around on the Electrical, Wiring, Relay, etc. diagrams and information but still remain kind of confused. It must be a fuse/wiring(or something to that extent) problem because I've pretty much gone through two batteries in two years and removed the pulleys still to no success. Please help if possible because this problem has been pestering me for the past two years to no end and I would GREATLY appreciate anybodys help. You have no idea how hard, confusing, and wanting-to-pull my hair out experience reading directions or reaching for anything at night can be with limo tint all around to make things worse. Please anybody tell me anything you can, if you know others please ask them for I've become desperate now. If you can successfully help me out you will have my eternal gratitude  , as I feel like killing myself now because of this. Thank you for reading.

Check the 7.5A DOME fuse. It also feeds B+ to the clock.

Thats 99% likely the problem, check that first. Its one of those long orange ones in the fuse box by passenger leg. If one of the mini fuses is blown clock and dome wont operate.

EDIT: Sometimes the clock light will be on, but extremely light, so it might not be the fuse because technically the light is still on, albeit miniscule it's still showing the time. Hmm I'll just go check it out tomorrow after work.

Definitely will do bro, I'll go check it out either tonight or once I get back from work tomorrow, and also SickCelica696 thanks alot guys, really appreciate it guys, thanks for reading. I'll post again once how things go.

Clock backlight might be a different story... but given the domelight situation... DOME fuse is where I'd start. Also, have someone sit in passenger seat & not buckle up & see if the Passenger unbuckled light functions.

How are the backlights on your HVAC & radio?

yea he might have to do that grounding thing with the cigarette lighter.

yea he might have to do that grounding thing with the cigarette lighter. I almost wish mine would break... so I could actually find where that dimmer problem normally occurs for everyone.

Mine actually broke about 4 years ago. When I took out the stock CD player to put in mine I lost all the lights in the center console. they've been out for 4 years needless to say lol.

Yep... that's what happens. There has to be a common location where that dimmer lead gets broken... its an all too common a problem.

Well I usually have my backpack in the passenger seat and the damn thing is heavy enough to set off the unbuckled light function, so yeah it does work. The backlights on the AC/Heater are out but the radio is fine. Lots of damn problems and they are annoying.

if your ac controls are out then follow the writeup in the install section for grounding it. All it is is the green wire from the cigarette lighter i believe.

Yep...it's the light dimmer return..... you can either ground it... & they'll stay on full brightness... or try to trace back towards the Combo meter & find the break.

will do guys, thanks alot for the help once again, i checked the fuses and they seemed fine so it must be the grounding problem.
