If you have a front license plate.... go to your local hardware supply & buy a can of spray Glass "Frosting" (under $5). Spray this lightly over your license plates. Remove them from the car 1st. Two coats should do it. If you hit your plates with a flashlight @ night... you'll notice the reflectivity.... try it after the "frosting" & you'll see that they no longer reflect.
You can do the same to your rear tag... to help defeat EZ Pass cameras.
Notes: 1) front tag is a fairly standard "target" for Law Enforcement Laser speed detection.
2) This will just make your plates look "faded" when viewed in the daylight.
3) This information is provided for purely educational purposes. Tampering with or obstructing license plates may be against the law in your jurisdiction.
I have no experience with the Veil product. However, if your just looking to do your "tags" this will work. I'm a lil concerned regarding doing the headlights... I'd suspect that anything you apply would diminish headlight output. I also doubt that there is that much laser reflectivity from the Celica's headlights, in comparison to many others. I haven't done it... but you could do the same "flashlight" test with the headlights and see how much light is reflected before you invest in the Veil product. If there is significant reflectivity, you could also consider a smoked or other headlight overlay.
