I installed the Pioneer DEH-7700 deck in my car and it works great! Problem is I don't know where to plug or connect the antennae jack to the deck. I got the motorized antennae on my GT-S. So if anyone knows anything about this I'd really appreciate the help. If it wasn't fo CD's I'd be stuck on one radio station EVERYDAY!!! hahaha

on the stock harness, it's wire number 13 (counting from left to right, 1 - 10) for power antenna...

It's the one to the right of the red & white RCA jacks with the right angle on it.

Hey my bad on taking a while to reply, had some personal stuff to take care of, but ne ways...I took out my deck and followed what you guys said. I noticed I had already plugged in that thick black wire into the hole in the picture from 2way. But there is also another wire with like a chrome tip and I think that's the one that will allow me to use my antennae. That chrome tip wire appeared to be split from that big black wire you guys are telling me about. I took some pics so hopefully you'll see what i'm talk'n about...

These are the back of my deck:

<img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f144/dafiliptian/Antennae004.jpg" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket">

And this is where the big black wire plugs into:

<img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f144/dafiliptian/Antennae005.jpg" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket">

These are the two wires I was talking about:

<img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f144/dafiliptian/Antennae007.jpg" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket">

<img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f144/dafiliptian/Antennae008.jpg" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket">

<img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f144/dafiliptian/Antennae009.jpg" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket">

Please let me know where to connect the other wire or is there some kind of adapter to connect both wires to that hole or anything? BTW thanks for all yalls help!

You dont use the small one. It's called a diversity antenna to help boost signal strength. Just tape it off. Your power ant. will actually bne controlled by the blue or blue wire eith white stripe. Make sure you have both blue wires connected.

ooooooooooh ok. so am i spose to connect the wire that ragingpaseo is talking about (#13) to the blue wire you're talking about? and just to refresh, you're talk'n about the blue wire in the pic 2nd from the last right?

bingo the wire with the female insulated terminal, the one thats the shortest. If thats not connected, your power antenna wont go up or down.

It's called a diversity antenna to help boost signal strength. Just tape it off. Ah yup, & it is a different polarization. The whip can be pretty much considered vertically polarized. The "diversity" antenna is horizontally polarized in the back window glass. Most large commercial FM stations are circularly polarized.

Just a tidbit of useless knowledge.

wassup again! i know this really old but i just got to working on it now...lol. i'm having a lil trouble finding which wire is wire 13. i've been looking around the stock amp wiring harnesses to find that wire. here is a similar pic (not mine tho) http://www.geocities.com/fourgig/antenna.htm but this is for a gt, mines a gts (dunno if there's a difference in wiring). i thought i found the blue wire from the stock amp but it didn't work then i tried counting the wires and 13 landed on a brown...didn't work either. if someone could tell me which one wire 13 is (i.e. by color or with a picture) i'd really be grateful. thanks! oh and thanks again to those that have been trying to help me!!!!
