Well, my Pioneer AVIC-N1 was broken, and the screen would turn a light blue color and the picture would start to roll once in a while. Then one day the screen completely went out, and after that the buttons wouldn't even work. After hours of research and looking on forums, I found out that the culprit was most likely the ribbon cable inside the unit. My dad has connects with Pioneer so he ordered the ribbon cable for me and I installed it myself. Fixed a $200 job for under 30 bux :D
