Hey guys ive had this problem for a while now..i have 1 12" kicker solobaric s12L5 in my car and am upgrading to 2 12" L5's...with the one sub the spoiler rattled a lot but can't really stop that i dont think and it doesnt really make too much noise. the other part that is making a lot of rattling noise is the back latch where it says C E L I C A...is there any way i can tighten the bolts or anything? any suggestions here. I've thought about dynamating the trunk but will that solve my problem? someone else must have experienced this. any input is welcome.

Dynomat, it reduces vibrations in the metal. I dynomated my whole car and there are no more rattles with the sub on.

My latch never rattled. You should tighten it if it rattles. My 3rd high mount brake light rattled, hatch handle, and license plate rattled. Dynomat stopped the rattling of the hatch handle and 3rd brake light. It reduced the rattling of the license plate and I glued on some rubber circles behind the license plate to stop the rattling.

Reread your first post and yeah my hatch handle rattled. Fixed it with dynomat and tightened it a little.

Dynomat ....... please, it's like the first band aid. If you want good quality stuff check out www.cascadeaudio.com i have the trunk kit and the sound is great. Don't get me wrong Dynomat is good stuff but if you want to play loud music and not have the luxury of the consistent rattle go with casecade. Their products are nice b/c if you want gasketing they can do that to make vibration little to none, check out your local audio shop as well and see what they use. That's my .02

Try fatmat.com just as good not near as much. I did the whole inside of my daughters car for 100.00 and have over half of the material left.

I bet that cascade stuff is mad expensive.
The same effect can be achieved by either dynomat, fatmat, SecondSkin(the one i use), or the cascade stuff. Just use small strips or a layering method for the hard pesky spots.
dont use too much the **** is heavy.

I think it should be the same but for the price diff. you could double layer it.Just get a better walpaper roller. The plastic one that comes with the kit breaks real quick. It made a world of differance in my daughters car. It took out alot of road noise. I'm thinking about going back and doing the roof. I only have one rattle now somewhere under the back. Sounds like it might be between the rear bumper cover and reinforcement. Haven't looked yet I'll do that when putting on lip kit. You have to really crank on the sound to make it rattle. But  to rattles

Duraspank man i'd like to get all the hook ups ur daughter is getting. Ya Fatmat works great though from what i've heard, the cascade stuff is alittle more expensive but when a local car audio store mentioned it to me and the fact that it (casecade) is used in several Audio shows and beat out Dynamat and fatmat i was shocked. Yes i have seen award plaques in my local audio shop for this material.
