Okay heres the deal - I want to establish a REALLY good FAQ on turboing a 7th gen - I want it to be an impartial and honest guide for folks thinking about going Turbo. Obviously the main question people ask is how much will it cost so heres the deal - be HONEST - I want to know TOTAL expenses, including labor, parts, fasteners, fabrication, chemicals, oil, kit, ecu, colder plugs, injectors, tuning, dyno time, gauges, boost controller, turbo timer, bigger exhaust - EVERY expense you have occured in order to get your turbo kit or custom install to work properly to where you want it to be. Polls are anonymous so do your best to be truthfull.

Take some time to think back on all the expenses you incurred. Do not add your own unpaid time as labor - I will post another couple of polls to find out who installed the kits themselves, how long it took, etc.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

Edit:

1ZZ or 2ZZ powered MR2, Corolla, Matrix or Elise owners may reply as well.

Yeah MR2 counts the same - 1ZZ or 2ZZ Corolla or Matrix would also count the same.

Anything else would pollute the survey

Cool - Elises with 2ZZ count too - my bad for not mentioning them. Please respond to all the polls and surveys that are up if you have the time. Thanks!

Lol he said

So add up the Internals and Trans :rimshot: :gap: And i would say a new ECU to get it to its potential (MAP Sensor  )

OK, I included everything from intake to exhaust, but not other stuff (brakes, suspension, LSD, cosmetic, wheels etc) as that skews the answer and is really answering 'how much have I spent on modding' rather than 'how much did your turbo cost'.
