I have a kenwood 911 dvd with a percision power 400 x 4 amp going to infinity kappas in the rear and components in the front. I had this dude do it for me off the books and after a while the amp over heats and shuts its self off. But rather then just the amp shutting off, it shuts off all the sound all together. I understand I dont even need that amp, but why does all the sound stop when the amp shuts down to cool off???? I've tried messing with all the gains and freq., but it sounds bad if i turn them all down enough so it doesn overheat on road trips. What would be wrong with the wiring? It looks like he spliced in a handfull of wires behind the kenwood module behind the glove box....

and if anybody had any ideas how I can start all over, to get my speakers powered by the kenwood head unit again, insead of the amp??

im taking out the amp, and I already have new amps, and new subs

I dont think I need the rears, or fronts powered by an amp, I figure the kenwood deck has enough power for them, what do you guys think.

The subs are two infinty 12" and two mtx 300 watt amps. Bass boosters.. ill have to see, I havent taken possison of it yet.

thanks
