Well, let me see if I can help at all.

1) HID's should last for the life of your vehicle, so no, they should not blow. The only way I can see this happening would be if you have excessive condensation in your lens, fingerprints on the bulb, or something to that effect.

2) Can't tell you the best, I simply dont know what makes one brand superior to the other. With that said, I have the K2 Vision HID's (Crystal White) 6000K and I paid roughly $450 shipped from Groupbuycenter.com. The light output is blue at the center and purple on the outer edges.

3) Install is incredibly easy, you just need to remove the front bumper and then remove the healight assembly. It should not take more than an hour, provided you have experience removing your bumper.

4) Dont know the best place...try e-bay or groupbuycenter.com, other people on the board may have a better idea on where to purchase them.

Honestly, they are so worthwhile, they light up the road incredibly well and they look great. Go ahead and get some HID's, I promise you you will not be disappointed.

HID's don't blow out unless you touch the bulbs. I have the Vision Crystal White's as well. Had them for 7 months, paid $450 for them from Advanceracing.com or advancracing.com I think it was... they are worth it and I would NEVER go back to "colored bulbs" again. once you go H.I.D.'s you never go back ;) Colored bulbs are a waste of money.

Exactly. If you consider how much money you waste replacing the color bulbs, you could've got HID which is definitely brighter, looks better and last longer. Install is not hard, just follow directions carefully.

Are you sure the bulbs blew out? or did the ballast or starter blow out? I have the Vision kit, and the starters blew out in 2 months. Very POS starters since they were made like crap in Korea. The new ones I am suppose to get are made by Panasonic. I realized that I got the model kit before vision or K2 put panasonic starters with their kits. If that's the case, you'll need to contact the warranty people in order to get it replaced for free.
