Need new insurance for in NY.

My insurance (METLIFE) jack up my insurance by almost $800 for the new year. This is how they reward me for a year of paying my bill on time and not getting a single ticket or acident. Can anyone recomend a decent insurance company? I live in Queens NY.

Your insurance rate went up in NY not because you did anything wrong. It is because NY has the highest insurance fraud rate in the country all due to our "no fault" law.

NY's insurance increased 15% this year as a average. So you are not the only one. We now pay the most for insurance in the country. Remember a few years ago that title belong to NJ? They have since made new laws to reduce insurance rates.

If you want to be mad, be mad at the "no fault" law that made it easier for people to commit fraud.
