View Full Version : how do you get rid of these things on my head lights?

i have these things on my head light. it looks like dried water marks, but its not. no matter how many times i scrub them, it wont come off. for those of you who know wat i am talking about, how do i get rid of these things?

I've used Mother's Plastic polish and it seems to work well. ;)

i got the lights replaced under warranty. they were also cracking right in front of the low beams.

Yep, sure do. I also have a waterspot remover that does wonders, I gotta go take a look to see what brand it is tho.

I used Meguires plastic polish to get rid of that too. They have two plastic products that you can use together, a plastic cleaner and a plastic polish. They both work really well and I reccomend them.

The spots are actually caused from acid rain that has etched into the plastic. I started applying a layor of wax to my headlights whenever I wax my car and the spots have not since returned.
