Alright right now im trying to figure out what i would like to get i have a really good discount with infinity and JBL and i would like to use it to get some mids or components i need to know what most peoples opinion is on what the best is that Infinity and JBL make and what size i need for just the front. Thank You

If you can get a deal on Infinity stuff I would suggest their Reference components. I got the 6.5" reference set for xmas and with a little tweaking, they sound pretty decent. First off, I like that the crossover has a -3dB output for the tweeter, this avoids the ear-bleeding highs mentioned above (though I still had to turn down the highs on my HU to -4). Aside from that, they have good power handeling, great options for tweeter aiming and positioning, the tweeters are a textile dome (which is smoother sounding than metal or poly dome), and the woofers are an oversized polypropelene cone with a vented pole piece for better power handeling. Overall, I'd say they're a great buy for the buck!

Does anyone else agree with this cause i figured that since i can get the kappa perfects for 154 shouldnt i just go with that and like a 200 watt amp....?

Oh yea definitly. Components sound sooo much better when you power them properly.
