Got hit, just the fender has damage but want to get the suspension checked out. Went to a Body Shop and they didn't even bother looking at it. Is that becuase they knew nothing was wrong with it? If I were to go somewhere and get it inspected, where would you guys reccommend?

It doesn't look damaged. If anything is bent, it will be dead obvious if you check the alignment.

I have never checked the alignment before. What am I looking at and for?

I think you would need to see how it drives.. like if it pulls to one side or the other

Ah man that is difficult to judge as some of the roads here are really pitted from tires. I don't even remember if it leaned to one side before my mom hit me anyways.

and I noticed that it pulled to the right, would just an alignment fix that? Do I have to get all 4 wheels aligned?

If you're going in to get an alignment, might as well get all four done. It's pretty cheap for a one time deal, maybe $50.

did she back up into it?? if so, its just cosmetic. your fender is just bent. she would not be going fast enough make the fender hit the damper and/or the spring
either way, take the wheel off and look at the circle around the spring. see if the opening that the sprint/damper is laying in is bent in anyway

I recently hit black Ice and hit the passenger front tire into a curb -- It bent the stock steel wheel so bad that it was rubbing the caliper. I put the donut on and drove to the local toyota dealer -- they put it on a lift and checked the suspension, axles, hubs, etc. for free -- result -- no damage. Call up and see if they'll check it for you for no cost.

Oh wow, that seems highly unlike a dealership. It wouldn't hurt to check though. Thanks man.
I got a used spectra blue fender off a member here so she's back in action.
Toyota dealerships are clueless on anything.
I had a car sitting for a day. I called and Toyota said they didn't even look at it, would you like to leave it another day? I said yes.
Toyota looked the next day for any possible things wrong with the front suspension on the right side.
I told Toyota to not look at my aftermarket coilovers at all. I made this a point, because I knew they were solid.
Toyota called me and said they found nothing wrong after I left the car there for 2 days when it was only going to take 1 day. A test drive was all they did.
I drove my car to my mechanic where he found a lose control arm in the front after 5 minutes and I mean lose. Problem solved.
My point is, if you go to Toyota your going to get screwed on things you don't need done and for problems that won't get fixed. You're looking at Jiffy Lube mechanics to fix your car.
This goes for all dealerships. I have a list for Honda and Audi also. It's absolute negligence from the dealerships.
I see the dealerships mechanics come and go like a line of cows. I never see the same team at any dealership. There is always the one or two that remain and know nothing other than their right from their left.
