Finally tinting the windows. Anyone with blue tint?

Well, I think it's time to tint my windows, and I'm looking at maybe going with a blueish tint. Anyone got this...pics?

Looks nice. How much did that run you? Someone told me something like that is actually 2 tints, the base tint, then the color tint?

I've seen red tint. The WWest Civic has red tint all around.

no its a single tint, i still have about 8 feet left of my tint roll, it cost me $50 for 20 feet, enough for the whole car with windshield banner and roughly 6-8 feet left

and yes there is red tint, my friend justin has it on his celica (lowredcruzr), heres a pic of his car

personally, i like dark tint better than colored tint. all the cars i see around here with blue and red tint look really stupid. if you get it done, get it done right cause when its a bad job, it looks horrible.

I agree man. I've seen a couple of cars around here with colored tint and it looks like ass. Especially this dark green Civic with light green tint. Looks ugly as hell. Just my .02 worth. I got regular black 15% tint on my spectra blue and it looks really good.

i just got mine from a local tint shop, they had a big book of tints and they had a section of colored tints

Hey Bat I really think you should get dark tint instead of Blue tint. You already have a spectra blue car. The dark tint will look better..........oh yes....I sent you my check for the overlay kits today.

Thanks guys! Ill check it out. I have a black and red scheme going on (thanks to Bat's overlay, which started it all!). I photochopped the windows with 35% red....and i love how it looks! Thanks again.

You outta smoke your taillights and sidemarker lights. That would look hella tight! I think I have something for those;).

I have the darkest tint that is legal on my Spectra Blue, and I think it looks much better than the colored tint. The reason I say that is because everyone I see with colored tint around my area has it screwed up REAL bad.

yea i have been around the tint, on my silver celica, i had mirrored blue tint, got tired of that so i put 5% on the back and then 30 on my front two until i nicked the one front, so i put 5 up there until this weekend and then i got pulled over and a warning to take it off or i would get a fine, so i pulled it off, now i think im goign to 20 all around.

i just tinted my windows with regular black 20% and it looks damn good i think. i wouldn't advise going darker then that cause you have really dark colored interior so it makes the tint look darker.

Thanks bat..but i just bought the black altezza's i like the look of them on the black celica. And to the rest of you ...thanks for your opinions..now i am wondering weather to go with red tint of black....

I thought of the mirror tint, but it is illegal to have reflective tint in my state. They really enforce it around here too...so I dont want to waste cash on tint that has to come off when they get me in a week....
Probably gonna do black...
