Hey hows everyone been havent been here in a while. Lots going on. Found out in November that I am going to become a daddy and its now time to sell the GTS! We've looked at a few options and here they are you guys give me some input. Thanks! Not ranked by fav.or anything.
1) 2002+ Audi A4
2) 2002-2005 Maxima
3) 2000-2003 4 Runner
4) 2000+ Pathfinder
Any other suggestions are appreciated. If we chose one of the cars will more than likely be a stick. Thanks guys!

From your choices, I'd for for the A4 or the 4Runner.

If you were lookin at an SUV, have you looked at the Nissan Murano? Just out of curiosity, I like the way they look. The newer Pathfinders are nice too.

I do like the murano, but the girlfriend doesnt plus that would be a little tight on the budget. looking to stay under 22,000 or so. Still gotta pay for school and get the house finally finshed being built. But thanks for the input.

First, congrats on becoming a Dad!!
Do you leave paved roads? Yes = OK to get SUV. No = buy a car. My other vehicle is a 2000 4Runner SR-5 which does get off road on occassion. Love everything about it, except the gas milage. Awesome room and reliability, which are both very important with a family. Oh, and just to ease your mind, since my daughter got big enough to get in and out on her own, she prefers to ride in the Celica - so you can go back!

maxima is a beast, I like driving it a lot
but yeah, legacy GT all the way
While not a 4dr.... if the Celica meets your current needs... its gonna be a while before your child is out of a car seat. Also, none of your suggested options will meet or beat the mpg of the Celica. You know what you have now... you could get stuck w/someone else's headache buying your used selections. The Celica, assuming it is paid off, owes you nothing. Pay for school & finish the house. Don't take on additional debt.
If it's the gf pushing this... buy her a 4dr beater.
Welcome to parenthood!

Yea parenthood is a big wake up and Im not there yet!! HAHA. But thanks for all the suggestions and I cant wait. Whatever car we decide to buy will be completley paid off so no additional debt thank gosh. I love the legacy's those are wicked, but I dont believe I could afford it and everything else. Unfotunatlry Ive delt w/ mitsubishi and I dont want stupid ricers trying to race me while im driving anymore so unfortunatley Evo is out. Thanks everybody keep sending the input!!! Ohh yea naw wont be parting her out, I have a buyer lined up already once they get the loan( i hate that step) so everyhting is goin. Im gonna make on last dragon and Cherohala skyway run before I sell it so I will post some pics!!

mazdaspeed 6 i would say is a pretty good family car.
u can get a bitrubo s4 for 20 grand. drove one... pulls pretty good (but then again all the cars i've had had no power), get an extended warrantee and a beater and ur set.

we have an 04 maxima, its fast but the a4 is a much better choice.i have the 19 in wheel sport package and it corners like a city bus....
my best friend just traded his 04 a4 in for an evo, but he misses its comfort.
a4 is a great car to drive. feels good, its fun and its also a comfortable car for passengers even the backseat.

Look at where Mazda, DSM and Audi are on this:

Family car means reliable, roomy and practical while retaining performance. Buying a beater would make this entire thread moot. I'd vote for either an Avalon, Camry, Accord V6 or 2005 3 series. Forget the domestics.

DSM doesnt exist anymore... Chrysler backed out of Mitsu.
And to be technical the Engine and chassis of the MS6 is derived from Ford...
