Stock audio system info.

Does anyone know how many watts the stock sound system is? Tried the search with no luck.

I just got a new ride and I want to see if it has a higher wattage than the celica. My new ride is 200 watts. I am just curious, because I really loved the stock sound system in the celica and I want to match it at the very least. I know it doesnt compare to an upgraded system, but I truly thought the system was of great quality. IMO of course.

I agree with you, I was very impressed with the stock system. Heck, that's why I kept it stock for 4 years and when I did change it I only added an amp/hu and sub! I wouldn't worry about wattage too much, the quality, placement and design of the speakers has more to do with how a system sounds.

Vibe has a 200W stocker .... & I seem to recall seeing a thread that mentioned 40W per channel in a Celica...so my guess is 160W-200W (50W per ch). & you have an '03+.... so I would think it would be comparable to the Vibe/Matrix.
