I would try to get it dynotuned if you can.
Otherwise get a Wideband O2 and tune it yourself.
I would start with the Power Enterprise Settings for the 1ZZ and adjust from there.

Yeh.. I was just about to ask the settings for gts. I'm from australia and among the very few that's going to have a camcon for 2zz.

If it helps, i'll be running 98octane or even 100octane with 5%etanol. I have ebay cold air intake with k&n pod filter, remus axel back exhaust, ported header, no resonator.

Oh.. And how did you guys install it with the unit inside the car? Did you buy an extention harness or did you just use additional wires to extend it to the cabin? THanks

This is result with or without camcon on my vvt-i six speed with some mod. ;)

Now i must optimize setting of camcon... i have used setting on camcon manual, and have modified little the airfuel on hight RPM.

Looks like some very consistent gains throughout the powerband.

I installed the camcon today. Only celica in Australia to have installed it in think. I didn't know that the camcon harness would be long enough so i made an extra 1.5m harness to connect on it.. Arghh... what a waste of time that was when i found out i had an extra 1.5m of harness sitting inside the car. Does anyone know if this will effect signal quality? Plus.. I didn't use any of the male/female connector and sleave.. I just sliced into the wire and tap it. Is this ok?

Marvellous Davide!!! You only have to solve the problem of your header!!! Probably, you can gain something more...

PS: the second in Italy whit Camcon, if everythings go on the right sense, it will be me!!!!

Great work!

I've got a MR-S 1-ZZ-FE with remus catback, Apexi intake.

Have gotten Camcon done. My settings are close to that posted on the PE website. They are...

Valve: 2k rpm to 9k rpm in 0.5k rpm intervals...
18, 16, 12, 10, 8, 8, 6, 4, 4, 4, 3, 1, 1, 0

A/F: 1k rpm to 9k rpm in 0.5k rpm intervals...
0, 0, 2, 2, 3,, 3, 2, 0, -1, -2, -2, -2, -2, -1, -1, 0, 0

Can you share your settings for the 1ZZ?

Thanks!

What is you gain with this setting?
Do you have compare dyno (before/after)?
You setting is the same posted by Power Enterprise on your website right?
http://www.power-enterprise.co.jp/products/english/main/electric/camcon/data/1ZZ-FE.pdf

This evening i will post mine, but my setting are very very different from your :crazy2: i'm lean in slow rpm, and very rich in higt rpm (+20 at 6500).

Hey... no dyno yet but will do so next week with camcon on and off... Butt dyno (which counts for nuts I know) feels an improvement. Throttle response is better, especially between 3.5k to 5k rpm. The car seems more "driveable". Will get the figures u guys need :)

The cam settings are the same as the PE ones. The A/F settings are slightly different cos maybe due to the different intake and exhaust combination. Anyone else with camcon settings for a 1-ZZ to share?

the setting posted by power enterprise, for what combo is designed (exhaust, headers, intake ecc...)?
i attend your compare dyno ;)

Well the PE one is for the 1ZZ but I think they did not say the intake exhaust etc so maybe it is for stock? So most of the cam settings are the same. The A/F was chaanged slightly working from the basemap from camcon though.

Let me know ur settings when you are home :)
