if there any of you out there with a sealed box with two tens in them, try to face the subs toward the spare tire compartment after removing the trunk mat, spare tire and the fiber board thingy. once you got the subs facing the spare tire compartment, find a cd with smooth sounding bass and observe the results. It sounds pretty good with my setup.
anyways just thought I'd share this with you guys.
have fun.

Sounds like you might be more happy with a bandpass box instead of a sealed box. ;)

I'm pleased with the sealed box...just like to experiment on how I can better extract smoother and louder bass from it. N E Way, just thought I'd have some fun with this.

you'll probably get the same effect if you move the subs closer to the back of the hatch as well (with the subs facing the rear of the car)

I tried that too (subs facing the rear of the car, sitting at the very back. It sounds good there too.)

my subs sound like @SS. they're old and all, but still nowhere near as good as my last car. i've tried facing them back and up. the curve of the glass is just no good. i hope when i get my new setup it'll sound as good as i want it to.
