Hi guys, just wondering if anyone would be interested in the total package for HIDs...
As some of you may know, the 03+ years had a $2000 OEM option for HID lights on the celica, of course not many people get it, however the headlamps are awesome... (you can find pictures of it through searches). They come already painted inside a light charcoal/grey color and it comes with better light reflectors for the HID and turn signal... comes with a bigger bulge which is for the motors inside the housing (in case you want to wire it to make it manually controllable from inside the cabin, however those parts, I am not providing - you can get it from your local dealership).
I also have a 1.5 year old McCulloch (h7) 5300k HID kit on it right now... looking to see what kind of offers I can get for them sold as a package deal...
This is an interest thread unless I get some serious offers, then I will probably sell them. Thanks!

Sorry, let me clarify, the sale is JUST for the two headlamp housings and the HID kit, not the entire $2000 factory option...

Feel free to PM me offers or list them here guys...
BTW, I would prefer cash over trades + cash, just FYI.

Are you stating that your h7 kit works with the d2s hid Celica Headlights?

YES, in fact, all you have to do (for the OEM 03 HID headlamps), is reshape the metal that is holding the bulb in to a shape that fits the h7 bulbs more securely in place. :)

Not to barge in on your thread but I have a set of Denso Ballasts (the ones that fit on the bottom of the headlight) with 4300K Bosch bulbs that would work great with this setup for sale. PM me if you're interested. The D2S will work 10 times better I might offer!

??? You could just make a seperate for sale thread for this...
My ballast tapes up underneath the driver's side headlight for the McCulloch, but not for the passenger side as there is not enough space.
I will also be buying new bulbs for this kit so I will probably go with d2s bulbs as well... for anyone, if you are interested in buying the kit, IT WILL COME WITH NEW BULBS (most likely closest to 4300k as I can get them) and d2s so it will fit the kit as it was meant to.

The output will be horrible since the bulb will not be fitted into the housing correctly. You are better off selling this kit seperatly. You can fit the bulbs into the housing but if you want nice out you'll need to go with what the headlights are designed for, d2s bulbs. D2S bulbs will also not fit your hid kit unless you buy a d2s plug and rewire your current ballast.

Sounds good, I'll look into it... and for the record, when the kit was new, the output and the cut off line looked razor sharp and uber bright, even compared to my friend's OEM IS300 HIDs.
But never the less I will look into a new d2s kit, thanks for the info!

Maybe a fuse, but I doubt even that... ask some of the other 2000 guys with HID kits...

ChinboGTS's bid is $500 cash + stock headlamps... I am considering this the highest offer at the moment...
I place cash of higher value than trade.
