I drove a Mazdaspeed 6 today, and the dealer didnt go with me he did a quick credit check and handed me the keys told me to jump on the interstate. so i did. and i was impressed hugs curves at 125 like no other car ive driven. not to stiff though. registered 180 on the dash i opened it up in a straight strech and hit about 155 dont know how much higher it will go but at that speed i had enough in a 30k car that wasnt mine. picks up pretty quick starts spoolin around 3000 to 3500. clutch didnt feel to much diffrent than a celica it just come out real quick right before it fully let out. i was impressed. if anyone else drove one yet id like to know what ya think

Damn, talk about a "test" drive. Hope you had fun! Anyway, i dont think ive seen one in person but since i saw the pics and stats of it i liked it. Id consider it if i was ready for a new car.
PS-Dont be surprised if you start getting flamed on. haha
you're a ****ing moron
that car has a break in period, and I'm willing to bet you were in it when you hit 155
not to mention you should be kicked in the uterus for doing 155 in broad daylight

well i know all about the break in period. and not to run a BRAND NEW turbo that hard. it had about 450 miles on it so it was pretty broke in anyway. i liked the kick in the uterus comment by they way. west viriginia cops dont patrol this part of the interstate cause not a lot of traffic goes through there. but thanks for your input :whogives:

Stupid.

Sounds like you had fun on the test drive. Aint nobody should be saying anything because if they came out with a new Celica with a stock turbo with 270hp, and the dealer let you drive it yourself, all of you would try and see what its capable of, I know I would. If your not a Celica lover, than think of your favorite car and how fast it is, and just imagine you were on an open road with no cars, ok stop dreaming now, it was fun going that fast in your imagination, now dont tell me you wouldnt if you had the chance.

Especially since it was his first drive in an unfamilar car.

1) Mazda schmazda...it's still a FORD
2) You obviously shouldn't be driving anything but the John Deere on your daddy's back 40, inbreed

:faint: Ha ha. Your a genius! The Mazdaspeed six is in no way even remotely a Ford simply because Ford owns it. You are an Idiot. Are you sayin an Astin Martin V12 vanquish is "still a FORD". Grow up and learn somethin.

Thanks for your feedback. Your opinion is valued, despite your 4th grade remedial grammar and mongoloid syntax.
This is an unrefined $30K+ car made by Ford's overseas yuppie tuner division for the ricer near you.

I too have driven the Mazdaspeed6 becuase i work with a Mazda Dealership. Good car. It spools up quite nicely and handles great too. The styliing has grown on me and the more i see them and drive them the more i like them.
This guy is a twit though for driving a dealer car 155mph when you have no intention of really buying the car. The salesman is an idiot for letting you go alone too though. But still, dirving like that just to "test a car out" is absolutely rediculous. No reason for that crap. Grow up.
