I live in Tennessee and have a in dash LCD monitor that has the saftey bypassed to be used while moving. Wich is handy for seeing the list of songs on a cd for example. My buddy also has some neons on his TC and I was jsut wondering where to find informaiton online about all these laws and stuff for what is and isn't illegal. Yu can't ask a cop around here without getting a diff answer EVERY time! :crazy2:

Well blue and red neons are illegal no matter what. It really depends on the cop. Some will pull you over for driving with any color because they say its a distraction to other drivers. Others dont mind it the color is NOT blue or red. Id just use them when I was parked, that way they cant say anything

Basically, this is how it happens. And I know for a fact that down south this is one of the only things cops really care about (other than normal traffic tickets). They don't care about emissions so much, but (mainly) blue lights will get u pulled over and probably just a warning for 'impersonating a police officer'

what about interior neons under the dash where you can only see the glow and no bulb, those are perfectly legal right since i think the tc's come with them stock. i have those in mine and they automatically turn on when i turn the car on and stay on when i turn the car off till i open the door
