:wtc: Hey folks,
Look what I found in a box of Celica stuff. I have a pair nearly complete dual projector headlights for Gen-7 Celicas. These, as best as my rotten memory serves me, were the original functional prototype mock-ups of the dual lights I made for my car years ago. They can reassembled by someone that is a mechanically inclined tinker. The projectors will need to be fitted and sealed with your choice of bulbs and you will need to produce your own turn signals or fit the MR16 units shown in the pic below. Be mindful that these were prototypes and the position of the backside projector mounts may not be ideally positioned, but proper projector aiming is obtainable. You will get what is shown in the first pic below. The second pic shows how this light looked assembled and with bulbs that are not included. I

Eric, you moved to Lakeview? Or did you just have another house?

If you're willing to part out (perhaps not), I'd be willing to buy everything except for the inserts themselves (I already have a set along with the turn signals..but I have nothing else).

Shoot me a PM if you're interested. Obviously I can pick up same day. Or if you would like to sell them as a whole that's perfectly understandable.

Caleb, he's selling the housings, which were different than the inserts he made. These replace the entire stock headlamp assembly. I thought you bought just the inserts for the stock headlamps?

I have another house in Lakeview.
The inserts you have go inside the stock headlights. Right? The ones listed here are complete replacements for the entire headlight.

The projectors are H7 but you can fit them with a HID kit if you choose. $470 if you pick them up.

Even if water gets in it'll just drip down the back since there is no rear housing to trap the water.

If you want those completely sealed you will need to fab some glass shields (to put in front of the projectors) and a rear housing for both sides. If you seal the projectors everthing would be fine. This would be a fun project and I would have bought these if I wasn't getting rid of my celica.

Tater, I'll take them off of your hands. For some reason I was thinking they were the inserts. I do NOT have the housings (Thanks Joe & Eric for pointing this out).

I can come pick them up today if you want. Are you staying at your other house? Shoot me a PM.

These are really awesome, i got to give you props on a great design, whoever bought the mold needs to take these into production, this is a reasonable alternative to the spec M headlights

it is always good to have a finished model when making replicas. even though I have the molds it would be much easier to look at a finished (mostly) product to go off of than to try to rig something up. oh and yes payment will go out tonight.

Get in touch with me when you do ;) You may be able to get even more for them so I would def put them up for sale after you're done. I don't always catch every thread though so if you want another bidder to raise the price, just shoot me a PM when that time comes.
