Sure, anyone who makes an honest attempt at a F/I setup for the celi is worth looking at...but then ask questions about that one instead of appearing to bash another one.
GReddy is a VERY reputable company that everyone can trust, and for about $2600 shipped you really can't beat it. Be a little more careful about how you word things online.

GREDDY KIT : :bang: :lame:
Instead of posting stupid comments like that..
Why don't you explain in detail why you don't like the kit??
So that people will respect you....

I did and thread got locked. (Better Bang 4 the buck). I was just trying to bring some attention to the other kit . Yes greddy is reputable, 4 there turbos. No intercooler, doesn't sound to safe 4 motor. The other kit has ability 4 more power with future engine mods. Alot of people here jumped on the greddy train as soon as they got wind of the name and not the contents or potential promblems that could come with kit. Kit looks wise is nice, but it would be better if it came with intercooler.(front mount) Or maybe a charger that can handle up to 18psi thats alot of room for more power 4 those who want.

I dont need to ask about it. I already talked to owner about it. Greddys web site shows 3495$ were did you see it 4 2600 shipped?

The reduced price was done to get the Greddy supercharger out on the streets, drum up interest and sales for a limited special offer at the time.

First off. The word is "for" not 4. And second, show me a supercharger kit thats running at 18psi. Please.

:blah blah blah blah blah: Opinions. So the TRD S/C isn't safe for the Matrix or Corolla or even the Celica? :eatpop:

Also a Celica that can handle 400whp without serious modding?
I understand that you see another option but I don't see why you are going around bashing Greddy... Just because you don't like them?
I say pointless thread untill you start showing us facts and numbers.

The blower in the greddy kit can put out all the stock motor can handle. so its plenty adequit if you are going to keep the internals stock and dont wanna spend a ton of money.

The reason people are jumping all over the Greddy kit is not just due to the name Greddy but the price. You will not find another kit that comes with what the Greddy kit does for only 2600.
The car will be perfectly safe without an intercool. My GS-R had a Jackson Racing Supercharger on it running 11lbs at 11:1 compression with no intercooler. Intercooler would be nice but is not necesary.
If anyone wants to make serious power they will look at other options because the blower the Greddy kit comes with is only efficient to like 11psi.

Yes i do wonder all I was trying to do is show people that its a well equiped kit and got told I was trying to sell the kit to people kinda how theres people hyping up other turbo and supercharger kits and setting up group buys but not ok to mention that their might be a better kit. Yes 400hp with serious mods to motor like 3zz is that so hard to believe? I have nothing agaisnt greddy it was done to get everyones attention, or should i say people who are inertrested in a real tuner car. Twin Screw Whipple( Charger 1200 Blower) up to 18psi thats what the owner told me. on stock 280hp 220tq just the stock setup alone sounds pretty damn good no?

Seriously, You also expect our Celica tranny's to hold that torque/power...
Haha, you expect the Celica Community to be able to throw down 3k+ for a new tranny when only a few amount can even afford turbo kits... Yeah we can all say man its great to have a 3zz engine... My question for you... How many members have this... You are talking about a limited amount of members... You are speaking to a limited number of customers therefore it is pointless to rant and rave.... Please, honestly, there is a better way of approaching this. Next time before posting think about what you're posting......

That same amount of power and rwd would be alot more fun, as well as faster. Don't you agree.

definitly, but front wheel wouldn't be that bad. rear wheel would be fun for the drifting

Hang on ... first of all, the Ragnorak Celica kit isn't even available yet, at least according to their website. Do you know something about the kit that is not listed on their site?
Secondly, when (and if) it does become available, if it's priced anything like the Elise kit it will cost over $6,000, which is a lot more expensive than the GReddy kit (under $3,000 from any dealer currently).
Finally, Ragnorak claims about the same hp increase, tho' they do boast more torque -- but again, it's likely to be at least twice the price!

Owner said he wants to change the kit around a little instead of the 250rr he's planning to run the 280rr instead and will ge priced under 5K if enough demand is there. Kit looks really nice see pictures on the elise this is how he put a intercooler on. check 280rr elise, it wont be same price. elise cost alot more than celica therefore parts cost plus the engines in back not alot of room higher difficulty = higher price alot of nice stuff is included in this for 4-5

Well ... that sounds great. Except that "wants to change the kit" suggests it is not currently up and running, it's not listed for sale, and no price has been set. Therefore, right now, it's all speculation. If the kit comes out, and it's better, and similarly priced or not much more expensive, then -- GREAT! When that happens, maybe I'll wish I'd waited.
In the meantime, I have the GReddy kit in my apartment right now, and tomorrow I'll have it on my car. By Tuesday, I hope to be driving around with a big grin on my face. However, the Ragnorak kit will still be in development, meaning not available.
If these were released at the same time, then you would have point, but the GReddy kit is available and the Ragnorak kit is not, so ...
